📏 Size Guide

Find the Perfect Fit

Babies grow fast — use our size guide to choose the right clothing, diapers, and accessories at every stage.

Clothing

Baby Clothing Sizes 👕

All Tinovia clothing follows standard age-based sizing. When between sizes, we recommend sizing up — babies grow quickly!

💡
Sizing Tip: Tinovia clothing runs true to size. If your baby is between sizes or on the higher end of the weight range, we recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit and longer wear.
Onesies & Rompers

Onesie & Romper Sizes 🩲

Our onesies and rompers include extra room for diaper changes. Check the snap-crotch length for the best fit.

ℹ️
Snap Length: Measure from the shoulder to the snap crotch to find the right onesie length. Our onesies are designed with an extra 1–2 cm of room for comfortable diaper use.
Sleepwear

Pajamas & Sleep Sacks 😴

For safe sleep, pajamas should be snug-fitting. Sleep sacks should allow free movement of the hips and legs.

🌙
Safe Sleep: According to pediatric guidelines, baby sleepwear should fit snugly to reduce fire hazard risk. Our sleep sacks are TOG-rated and designed for safe, comfortable sleep at any temperature.
Diapers

Diaper Size Guide 👶

Diaper sizing is based primarily on your baby's weight. If you're between sizes, try the larger size for a better fit and fewer leaks.

Perfect fit check: You should be able to slide 2 fingers under the waistband. Red marks on skin mean the diaper is too small. Frequent blowouts usually mean it's time to size up.
Shoes & Socks

Baby Shoe & Sock Sizes 👟

Baby feet grow fast — measure your baby's foot length every 6–8 weeks and always leave 1 cm of growing room.

To measure: Place baby's foot flat and measure from heel to longest toe.

👟
Buying Tip: Always add ~1 cm to your baby's foot measurement when choosing shoes to allow room for growth and comfortable movement. Socks should fit snugly with no excess fabric at the toes.
Measurement Guide

How to Measure Your Baby 📐

Accurate measurements make all the difference. Use a soft tape measure and measure while your baby is calm and lying flat.

📏

Height / Length

Lay baby flat. Measure from top of head to bottom of feet with legs straightened gently.

⚖️

Weight

Use a baby scale. Weigh regularly as it's the primary factor for diaper and sleepwear sizing.

🔵

Chest

Wrap tape around the fullest part of the chest, just under the armpits. Keep tape level.

🟣

Waist

Measure around the natural waist — the narrowest part of the torso, usually above the navel.

🦶

Foot Length

Place foot flat on paper, trace outline, then measure from heel to longest toe in a straight line.

👆

Head Circumference

Wrap tape around the largest part of the head — just above the eyebrows and ears.

Pro Tips

Sizing Tips for Parents 💡

From our team of parent experts — the little things that make a big difference when buying for your baby.

📈
Buy ahead: Babies grow 1–2 sizes in their first year. Buying one size up means your baby gets more wear out of each item and you save money in the long run.
🎁
Receiving gifts? Ask gift-givers to choose 6M or 9M sizes rather than Newborn. Babies outgrow NB clothing in weeks, and larger sizes get much more use.
🌡️
Dressing for the weather: The general rule is to dress your baby in one more layer than you're wearing. In warm weather, a single onesie is usually enough. Use a sleep sack instead of loose blankets.
💧
Wash before wearing: Always wash new baby clothing before the first wear to remove any manufacturing residues. Use fragrance-free, baby-safe detergent and avoid fabric softeners for newborns.
